The photograph was taken on a visit to Inner Farne, where we stopped off during a cruise around the Farne Islands, off the coast of Northumberland, England. Inner Farne is a delight to visit during puffin season. The birds move around happily, unconcerned by the visitors, and have the air of friendly little gentlemen enjoying a fair-weather stroll, between rather frantic endeavors to bring home the fish.
