During a walk at the Adelaide Botanic Garden, this sight of the Australian white ibis caught my attention. It stood on the bench for so long that it got me thinking about ways of quiet reflections, self-examination. What do we see in ourselves when we pause to look inward? Who are we when we zone in and let the music of quietude touch us?

Beautiful photography. I love David’s thoughts about introspection. It requires us to slow down in this spinning world. Being in contact with nature provides moments like this.
