Our week of photography wraps up today with two images from Nova Scotia.
I took this photo while roaming around my back yard early one morning, gawking at daisies, in Canaan, Nova Scotia. It was only after I posted a similar photo on Facebook that I learned about the Fibonacci Sequence (or Golden Ratio). Now I see it everywhere — including in pine cones, snail shells, and fiddleheads (ferns).
Dandelions fascinate me. As a child, I’d carefully pick a stem, bring it to my lips, make a wish, and blow the white fluffy sphere into the breeze. I still do. This photo was taken on one of the Tusket Islands in Southwest Nova Scotia.

Sandra is an inspiration to many people of all ages. Her writing, photography and canoeing. So lucky to have known her as a friend over many years.
So lovely to see you pop into view Kathy! I am truly yearning to see you again. Perhaps before I’m 90? We have a little over 8 years to make this happen!
These lovely photographs and the reflection that inspired them are absolutely wonderful! Congratulations and thank you for sharing your talents with us through this gem of a press!
Appreciate your comment Ginny. AND for introducing me to this wonderful journal. Feel honoured to be here.
