When daffodils sway
At the caress of air
The sun looks at them
With a bright smile
Perhaps envious
Not being able to touch
Sends its love through rays
To flood the flowers.
My mind dances with joy
The scene captivates it
Pleasure percolates
As if it has got
What it hankers after
The golden moments
Showering on it
The nectar of freedom.
It flies like a bee
To draw honey
From the flowers
To get immersed
In the sweetness that
Spreads a message
Of enlightenment
Far and wide.
