Our photograhy week ends with “Shades of Summer.”

The green in the photo captured my attention as I biked alongside the Chubb River on the rail trail in Lake Placid, NY, not far from my home. Winters are long in my part of the world and spring can drag with rainy days and mud. I couldn’t wait to try the newly opened trail, finally getting out there for the first time on an early June day. Summer had arrived.
