Our fourth day of photography features two images by previous contributor Phi Phi AN.

Both these photos are part of a long-running visual archive series named “Anchored in the timelines of the Tides,” a flow created based on traditional analog photography techniques. The commitment and work process of developing-editing through the darkest and most brutal night hours during these periods – everything is on the verge of collapse, including myself.

As the visual works invite – a reflection of time passing. A ship anchored in the tides. The distant sea, the storms, the departed, the silenced, the visible and invisible, the currents, the remnants, and beyond. Ebb and flow, one at a time, simultaneously, recurrently. Like life itself, there are dark, shadowy twists, and moments when light reveals. My/our new essence has come.
