We welcome back the photography of Kat Mincz today who won third place in our 2024 spring photography contest.
My sister and I walk in our neighborhood in Sandston, Va., frequently and often pass by this church. I’ve taken many photos of the steeple of the church, Sandston Baptist. The clouds are always lovely behind it.
Kat Mincz is a retired children’s librarian who enjoys reading, oral storytelling (especially folktales), writing, (including letters and postcards), and photography. She loves to write essays and hopes they will be part of a memoir one day. One of her favorite pastimes is sharing lunch or coffee with friends and having meaningful conversations.
