Our fourth day of photography features “Iron Bridge” located in Rothwell Country Park, Yorkshire, England. Heather talks about the contrasts in her image below.

Iron Bridge was part of an exploration of the meeting between geometry and nature, a visual commentary of how humanity shapes the landscape. I was drawn by how the reflected curves of the bridge underbelly have an almost organic feel. Yet, the imposed regularity of the metal lattice contrasts sharply with the wild grasses, which echo the line in their unruly manner.
