Today we welcome back a previous contributor, photographer Kim Hanson.

This photo was taken last autumn, near Cochrane, Alberta. I loved the how the Rocky Mountains looked that day and the bales of hay, lined up, side-by-side. The colors were spectacular and spurred me to stop on the secondary highway and take the photo.

I took this photo from an overlook, viewing the small City of Cochrane, Alberta. I was attracted by the panoramic view. It was such a beautiful day!

Thank you so much, Helen. They are very generous and gracious at The Sunlight Press.

In the first photo, I love the autumnal colours of the rural scene with the jagged peaks of the mountain range in the distance! In the second photo, the landscape looks rather bleak but what wonderful snow-capped mountains lit by a bright sky!
