Photography week closes today with images from Antarctica.

A penguin walking up a snowy hill at Half Moon Bay in the South Shetland Islands. The snow was so pristine, the penguin footprints so perfect and the sky so blue — the perfection of nature.

Charlotte Bay, Antarctic Peninsula. There are no words to describe this beautiful place. I went on deck of the Scenic Eclipse at about 7.30am and surveyed the 360-degree scenery. The conditions were so calm that the water reflected the peaks.

A photo of the magnificent Scenic Eclipse in Orne Harbour, Antarctica. Hiking up a peak, I took this photo of the Scenic Eclipse sitting in the moving, glacial ice.
