Today we welcome back photographer Sherry Morris who took her photos as 2023 wound down.
I took both the photo above and below on the horse farm where I live in the Scottish Highlands. The photos reflect my desire to find color and light in my environment as we move toward the darker time of year.
The winter months here, from the beginning of November to the end of January, can be a bit bleak. The sun rises late, around 9 am, and sets around 3:30 pm.) I challenged myself to find the brightest colors I could in what I thought were gray surroundings. I was amazed at the hues I found when I just looked around. I hope these images brighten your day too.
