Today we feature the work of Paige Jacobson who describes her time in San Diego below.

The cloud made a beautiful and unique sunset — as if it had been shaped especially for our experience at the end of the day.

My mother and I had hoped to spend our time on the beach in the warm sun, but the sky was overcast the majority of the trip. Then, on our last afternoon, a giant block of cloud moved out of the way for the sun. It ended up being a perfect beach afternoon with lovely views.

As the sun began to lower, its rays shone over the clouds. They reminded me of hope and filled me with gratitude.
