Today we feature the photography of Wendy Peck who describes her image below.
Leaving Palm Springs on my way to LAX, there was a brief rain shower. I happened to look out the passenger window and saw double rainbows echoing the shape of the hills with wonderful desert foliage in the foreground. I grabbed my iPhone and snapped the picture. When we arrived at the airport, I showed the image to the driver. “Pretty good for a photo taken during the rain from inside of a car traveling 60 miles an hour.”
This is totally…well…trippy. Great eye, Wendy.
Sometimes we are blessed with such great surprises in nature. I believe that if you have a love of nature already, these little miracles will present themselves to you. Wonderful capture, especially from the car.
Wonderful that you were so quick to be able to capture this beautiful image! Otherwise you might always regret the one that got away. (I have a few of those). Looking forward to seeing more from you!
Wendy: This is breath-taking. Like a Georgia O’Keeffe painting except even more beautiful. Keep taking those rides out to the airport…
