On our third day of photography we share the work of Amy Nemecek.
“Drops of Grace” is a close-up of pores on an enormous shelf fungus. Amy noticed it growing on a tree behind her church when she arrived early one Sunday morning in August 2017. It had rained the night before, and that mushroom which was the shape and size of a serving bowl, had collected the rain and dew and distilled it until it oozed out the bottom in fat, golden drops that captured the light. So glorious, so extravagant, so like grace.
So incredible isn’t it? This is a beautiful shot. Just love all the detail and the life inside.
Thank you.
Thank you!
Love this. Love you and your sensitivity to those and things around you. Blessings.
Thanks, Jude. Much love.
Amy, what an amazing shot. I love the perspective and of course, your eye to discover this image.
Thank you!
