Today we continue our publication of photography with the work of Patricia Joynes. Her photography last appeared in May in our journal. She describes her photo, “Walking in the Mist,” below.
Nestled off the Blue Ridge Parkway in the small tourist town of Blowing Rock, North Carolina, is a town park whose main feature is its gazebo. I love photographing in the fog because of its mystical qualities. The fog surrounding the gazebo with the couple walking in the light mist combine to create an other-worldly atmosphere.
