As we end 2018, The Sunlight Press is celebrating its second successful year. There are so many firsts worth mentioning: 1) The Sunlight Press became a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit; 2) we introduced two opportunities this year for writers to earn cash awards in Our Tech Life and Flash Fiction contests; and 3) we nominated work for Best of Net and Pushcart Prize awards.
Sunlight enjoyed a busy, banner year. It takes a village to raise a literary journal in the world. We’d like to thank our staff for their expertise: Clive Collins, our Poetry Editor; Elizabeth Spencer, our book reviewer and volunteer reader; Susan Pohlman, volunteer reader; Windy Lynn Harris, volunteer reader; Eric Sorensen, artist and photographer; Fabrice Poussin, photographer; and Molly Engel, photographer.
We’re thrilled to thank our generous donors this year. With their help, we reached our $2,000.00 fundraising goal for 2018. If you considered donating but haven’t had the chance, we would be grateful for your support. All donations will fund 2019 honorariums for the talented writers and artists published on our site. Thanks to all who supported The Sunlight Press. We are deeply grateful for your contribution.
