We’re excited to open submissions next Tuesday, May 1, for our first themed issue, Your Tech Life, coming in October. Please submit essays, fiction, and poetry, starting May 1. Submissions will close on July 31. Of the pieces published, we will pick one winning entry. The award recipient will receive $75.00. This award is in addition to payment received from The Sunlight Press when the piece is published.

Technology’s power to connect us is extraordinary, its power to distract, terrifying. How do you manage your devices? Do they allow you to work from home or keep you from working? Do you ever put yourself on a “digital diet?” Is technology, especially social media, bringing you closer to others or does it only seem that way? Do you feel helpless to turn down the latest technology?

Please read our submission guidelines for recommended word counts and other details. When submitting, please write Themed Issue and genre in the subject line.
