Today we continue our publication of photography with the work of Olivier Schopfer. We look forward to posting more photos that inspire and transform everyday moments. Both photos are part of Olivier’s Summer photo series, “Into the Blue.”
About the photograph, Leaning, Olivier writes: “This photo was taken last May in Algarve, Southern Portugal. There were aloes everywhere. It was the end of their blooming period, and I loved the way their stalks leaned, bent by the wind and the weight of their flowers, and how they cut out against the bright blue sky.”

The second photograph, Migration, Olivier took in September a year ago in Wellfleet, Cape Cod, Massachussets. He describes “migrating swallows landing on the beach to get some rest before flying further south. There were so many of them that the sky darkened for a moment.”
